Unverified information cited by The Ghanaian Standard is that Ghana’s Inspector General of Police (IGP) Christian Tetteh Yohuno has ordered the withdrawal of police officers from the Tamale–Bolgatanga section of the N10 highway following intelligence reports of imminent attacks by armed groups.
