Krobo Girls’ Presbyterian Senior High School delivered a commanding performance on Day 3 of the 2025 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ), outclassing St. Francis Xavier Junior Seminary and Business SHS to secure their place in the one-eighth stage of the prestigious competition.
From the opening round, Krobo Girls displayed confidence, speed, and precision, taking an early lead with 19 points, ahead of St. Francis Xavier’s 16 points, while Business SHS struggled at 2 points. Their fast-paced responses and teamwork drew loud cheers from the audience.

By Round Two, Krobo Girls extended their lead to 33 points, with St. Francis Xavier at 19 and Business SHS still at 2 points, as the auditorium watched their dominance unfold. In Round Three, the “Problem of the Day,” Krobo Girls ended with 40 points, St. Francis Xavier with 29 points, and Business SHS showed slight improvement at 9 points.
The intensity continued in Round Four, with Krobo Girls reaching 56 points, leaving St. Francis Xavier at 36 points and Business SHS at 19 points. By the final round, Krobo Girls maintained a commanding 59 points, securing victory, while St. Francis Xavier Junior Seminary finished with 42 points, and Business SHS ended with 19 points.
