President John Dramani Mahama on Wednesday held discussions with United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres on the sidelines of the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA80) in New York.
The talks, which focused largely on strengthening collaboration between Ghana and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), were aligned with Ghana’s Resetting Ghana Agenda. The two leaders also exchanged views on key global issues during the closed-door meeting.

This marks the second engagement between President Mahama and Mr Guterres within a month, underscoring the growing partnership between Ghana and the UN.
The ongoing UNGA80 is being held under the theme: “Better Together: 80 Years and More for Peace, Development and Human Rights.” The week-long assembly brings world leaders together to shape solutions for peace, progress, and dignity for all.
