A high-powered delegation of Volta chiefs led by the President of the Volta Regional House of Chiefs, Togbe Tepre Hodo IV of Anfoega, has arrived in China for a strategic investment tour.
The delegation is in China at the invitation of Ghana’s Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, His Excellency Hon. Kojo Bonsu.

The visit is being coordinated by Mr. Peter Ahiakpor, a Volta native and businessman.
The delegation includes Togbe Gabusu VII of Hohoe, Togbe Atikpladza Agbi Yao VIII of Kpalime, Togbe Sei II of Botoku, Togbe Dagadu IX of Kpando, Togbe Tenge Dzokoto Gligui VII of Anyako, and Togbe Adama III of Some.
The delegation was received at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport by H.E. Ambassador Kojo Bonsu, Chinese business executives, Mr. Jiang Jia Hua and Mr. Blaze Li of Sinohui Investment Corporation, and Hon. Aku-Sika Kpene, daughter of the land and Board Member of Produce Buying Company (Shea).
The visit aims to explore concrete investment partnerships to address developmental challenges in the Volta Region.
The areas of focus include IT and technology transfer, education and skills development, agriculture and agribusiness, sanitation and waste management, and tourism and heritage development.
The visit is expected to contribute to efforts to connect the Volta Region with the global investment community and promote sustainable development in the region.
