President John Dramani Mahama has unveiled the “Accra Reset” as a strategic blueprint for a fairer global economic order, anchored on resource sovereignty, local industrialisation, fair trade and stronger South-South cooperation.
Speaking at the 65th Anniversary High-Level Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement in Belgrade, Serbia, President Mahama called for greater climate finance, adaptation support and renewable energy investment for developing nations.

He said Ghana’s 2027 African Union Chairmanship and its leadership of the African Group of Negotiators on Climate Change would provide a platform to advance Africa’s interests.
President Mahama also urged Non-Aligned Movement countries to bridge the digital divide, ensuring they become active participants in artificial intelligence development and governance rather than mere consumers of technology.
