Former President John Agyekum Kufuor has praised the Melcom Group of Companies for its contribution to business growth and economic development in Ghana.
Speaking during a courtesy call by the company’s management at his residence in Peduase, he commended Melcom for expanding its operations across the country and living up to its slogan, “Where Ghana Shops.”

Kufuor also applauded the Melcom Care Foundation for its continuous support to vulnerable individuals, communities, and institutions through various charitable initiatives.
Melcom’s Director of Communications, Godwin Avenorgbo, assured the former President that the company’s expansion, including new Melcom outlets, Pizza Hut, and Giordano Clothing stores, would create more employment opportunities for young people. He added that Melcom remains committed to maintaining high business standards and its reputation as a responsible corporate citizen in Ghana.
