Pending the outcome of the investigations, the teacher has been interdicted in line with GES rules and regulations.

The Service strongly condemned all forms of amorous relationships between teachers and students, stressing that such conduct constitutes a serious breach of professional ethics and standards.

GES reiterated its zero-tolerance policy on sexual misconduct and cautioned all members of staff to uphold the highest standards of professionalism at all times.

The Service further assured the public of its commitment to protecting the safety, welfare and well-being of students across the country’s educational institutions.
