Mahama appears in throwback photo at Ghana Military Academy graduation

President and Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces, John Dramani Mahama, has been captured in a throwback photograph alongside senior officers of the Ghana Air Force during the graduation ceremony of Regular Career Course 64 and Short Service Commission/Special Duties Intake 62 at the Ghana Military Academy.

In the image, President Mahama is flanked on his right by the Chief of Air Staff, Eric Agyen-Frempong, and on his left by the Chief of Staff at the General Headquarters, Joshua Lartei Mensah-Larkai.

The photograph, taken by Warrant Officer Class II Anku M, reflects a moment of pride, discipline and military tradition as officer cadets completed their training.

The ceremony brought together military leadership, government officials and families to celebrate the graduating cadets, who are expected to serve in various roles within the Ghana Armed Forces.

The image has drawn attention for its symbolic significance, highlighting the relationship between the presidency and military leadership in Ghana.
