Fire service saves 18 rooms in Dansoman blaze

The Ghana National Fire Service has contained a domestic fire at Dansoman, Accra.

The incident occurred on April 23, 2026, near the Church of Christ, with firefighters from the Dansoman Fire Station responding after a distress call.

The blaze was brought under control and later extinguished with support from the Industrial Area Fire Station.

Six rooms were destroyed, while 18 others were saved. No casualties were recorded.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
