The Ghana Police Service has arrested three suspects in connection with the possession and sale of suspected narcotic drugs in Accra.
The operation followed intelligence received on April 10, 2026, indicating planned drug sales at Dzorwulu. A surveillance operation led to the arrest of Bright Ayivor and Ifeanyi Ijeoba on April 11, 2026, with 22 compressed substances suspected to be cocaine prepared for sale.

Further investigations identified a third suspect, Kwabena Botwe, who was arrested at Caprice during a follow-up operation.
Police retrieved GH¢400,000 and a counting machine from his residence at Greda Estates. During the operation, the suspect allegedly attempted to bribe officers with an additional GH¢420,000, which has been retained as evidence.
All three suspects are in custody, assisting with the investigation, and will be brought before the court.
